Introduction

SCU Motorsport, established in July 2016 and headquartered in Shropshire, United Kingdom, is dedicated to advancing education within the motorsport industry. The company is developing a motorsport education programme, which includes creating a race series specifically for colleges and universities. In line with their commitment to innovation, SCU Motorsport has recently entered strategic partnerships with ONWARD as Technology Development Partners. SCU MOTORSPORT This collaboration wll enhance their educational offerings and integrate cutting-edge technology into their programmes. SCU Motorsport's overarching goal is to provide a means of training future motorsport mechanics and engineers so they 'think' with a green focus by providing them with understanding and experience of the motorsport sector. Through these initiatives, SCU Motorsport is not only contributing to the development of skilled professionals but also promoting sustainable practices within the motorsport sector.

Onward is developing a brand-new software application that will provide a centralised location for students to store, track, and showcase their achievements as they progress through the educational programmes. It will also serve as a platform for partners to post and advertise job opportunities to students, creating pathways for future career prospects.

There is a currently a hole in the education system that should not be there, and that is the education of those more directly involved in the maintenance and setup of the race cars. The SCU Motorsport program has the potential to fill that hole and create the motorsport mechanics and race engineer of the future, and providing a fair and competitive environment for them to learn"
